Romance and coffee are my vices.

I’m fairly new to the Romance genre, about 2 years now.

You know the warm fuzzy feeling you have when you read a book you love for the first time. Or the feeling you get when you see someone reading that book that you loved so much.

I want to read the classics. I want to read the ridiculous tropes and plot lines that some of the older novels have. Then I want to gush about them here. I want you to gush right back, about how much you loved that book whenever it was that you read it. Or how much you couldn’t stand it.

I want to be able to giggle about the titles and covers with you. Not in a demeaning way, but because they’re so ridiculous it makes them so good.

I also want a space to share my thoughts about a book. So I can keep everything straight.

I may venture to something outside the genre. I want to be well-rounded in my well-readness after all.

I may occasionally post something that doesn’t have anything to do with books. I do have other interests besides books. And I do want to have more hobbies besides reading.

In accordance to the FTC guidelines, I must state that I make no monetary gains from my reviews or endorsements here on Confessions of a Literary Persuasion. All books I review are either borrowed, purchased by me, given as a gift, won, or received in exchange for my honest review of the book in question.
